The Ferney is owned and run personally by your hosts Annie and Gordon we are situated in a rural location surrounded by beautitful Herefordshire countryside.
We are open Wednesday to Sunday. We have a varied menu specialising in great homemade foods: all prepared for you by Annie herself and Gordon also has his specials as well. We are also fully licensed serving a good selection of bottled beers, ciders, wine and spirits, along with a good selection of soft drinks and low alcohol cider and larger.
In the cold winter months there is a welcoming fire and in the summer our attractive garden awaits your visit. Enjoy your meal outside if you wish or just a cuppa either way you will enjoy our stunning views across farmland towards The Breacons, Hay Bluff and Pen Y Fan the highest peak in South Wales
The Ferney is proud to have been awarded a 5* hygiene certificate from the Food Standards Agency.
We do have to agree a shorter menu for groups of over 8 people, and this will need to be pre-ordered. Generally 3/4 dishes are offered to pre-order.
As we provide food we are unable to accept dogs inside The Ferney, however dogs are more than welcome in our garden.
We are pleased to receive enquiries and to take bookings for your family or business functions. We have experience catering for shoot dinners, birthdays,wedding anniversaries and Wakes etc. We are happy to cater for any day of the week (a minimum of 10 people).
